Before you book
Arrival & departureCheck-in from 2:00 PM, check-out by 12:00 noon, unless agreed otherwise. Early arrival and late departure depend on availability.
Security depositUSD 2,000, payable on arrival or by bank transfer. Usually returned on the departure date.
PaymentA 50% payment is required to secure the villa, with the balance due 30 days before arrival. Full payment details are provided with your rental agreement.
Cancellation31 days or more before arrival: the 50% non-refundable deposit is forfeited. Within 30 days: the full rental amount is forfeited.
Security deposit
A USD 2,000 security deposit is payable on arrival or by bank transfer. It covers the cost of any damage or breakages to the property or its contents during the rental period, and is usually returned on the departure date.
Registered guests
Only the number of persons stated in the rental agreement may stay at the property as guests.
Food & beverage
All food and beverage items purchased on behalf of guests are charged at cost plus a 20% handling fee, payable to the staff in cash.
Staff hours
Staff hours are daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. After-hours charges may apply.
Smoking
Being a family home, Villa Chanjar has a no-smoking policy indoors. Guests are welcome to smoke outdoors, and our staff will supply ashtrays for outdoor use at any time. A THB 20,000 ozone-treatment fee is charged if guests smoke inside the villa.
Linen & towels
Linen and towels are provided at the villa and are normally changed every 3 to 4 days, or as needed.
Complaints
The lessor cannot be held liable for interruptions to the water, electricity or internet supply, or a breakdown of the swimming pool filtration system, but will make every effort to have any such problems solved quickly.
Force majeure
The lessor is not responsible for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by events outside the lessor's control, such as civil disturbances, fires, floods, severe weather or acts of God.
Conduct & behaviour
Guests are expected to behave correctly and appropriately while staying at the villa. If any member of the party behaves in a manner considered inappropriate, the lessor or the local representative may, at their absolute discretion, ask the guest or guests concerned to leave the villa immediately, and no refund can be claimed. The owner or his representative may enter the villa at any time. Unlawful activity of any kind is prohibited.
Due care, supervision & indemnity
The lessee accepts responsibility and liability for the safety and wellbeing of all guests and third parties staying at the villa during the rental. The lessee and their guests must take due care during their stay and be especially watchful of children playing in the gardens, near or in the pool or jacuzzi. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
